Niels, Competitive intel scout

Name your competitors. When you ask, or on the schedule you set, he tells you what moved: prices, pages, posts and job openings.

Add Niels in Maxiful

Add Niels from the Maxiful app

  1. Open Maxiful on your computer and go to Marketplace.
  2. Search for niels-competitive-intel and click Add. A paid assistant shows Buy first, then Install once you have paid.
  3. Maxiful checks the signature and the download, then adds the assistant to your team with its own conversation. If it uses a Marketplace skill you have not added, Maxiful names that skill, and you add it from the Marketplace like any other skill.

Maxiful names any that are not on your computer yet when you add Niels.

Where Niels stops

He works from public sources only: the pages and feeds you point him at, and search and news results.

What Niels does

Niels keeps an eye on the competitors you name so you don't have to check their sites by hand. Whenever you ask, or on a schedule you set up in Automations, he reads their pages and blogs, compares what he finds with the last snapshot he kept, and tells you exactly what moved: a pricing change, reworked hero copy, a new docs page, a fresh job posting that hints at where they're headed. He pulls in search and news results to add context, then writes up a short, plain-language brief of what changed.

He works from the public pages and feeds you point him at, and the snapshots he diffs stay on your machine rather than going off to a third-party monitoring service. When there's something to report, Niels drops the summary into Slack, Discord, Notion, or your inbox so it's waiting for you, and he can hand you the rundown as a Word, PDF, or spreadsheet file when you want to keep a record.

How Niels thinks

Niels does everyday work on the model your Maxiful gives its assistants, and hands heavy work to a helper on a model from your own setup: a cloud model, a model on your computer if you have one set up, or a coding tool you have connected and let it use.
